Avian influenza — on 13 June 2025, Agriculture Victoria announced that the February 2025 outbreak of high pathogenicity avian influenza (HPAI) H7N8 in northern Victoria had been successfully eradicated.
On 19 June, Animal Health Australia (AHA) and the Queensland Department of Primary Industries (DPI) welcomed over 35 industry and government representatives to a targeted training session in Brisbane.
