In May 2021, the Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment released its Commonwealth Biosecurity 2030 report. This report outlines a roadmap to guide projects, initiatives and investments associated with the government’s biosecurity remit. One of those initiatives is the development of a National Biosecurity Strategy. During our Members Forum Kat Waterhouse gave a great presentation about the development of National Biosecurity Strategy and how members can get involved and be engaged in its process. A draft for consultation is due by early 2022.
