The AHA 2025 Strategy was developed through extensive consultation and feedback with members and stakeholders. AHA’s overarching strategic direction is a national biosecurity system that provides every opportunity for Australian agriculture to succeed at home and overseas. The Plan is our blueprint for the future and sets AHA’s direction until 2025.
The Plan is supported by three strategic priorities:
- Strategic Priority One – Prepared and ready to respond
- Strategic Priority Two – Better health and biosecurity practices
- Strategic Priority Three – Connecting systems for stronger biosecurity
We’re closing out the 2020–25 Strategic Plan with a final report reflecting on five years of progress, challenges, and collaboration. It highlights key achievements, lessons learned, and insights to guide our future direction.
Through strong collaboration with our members, we’ve achieved significant progress on the priorities set out in the plan. Together, we’ve strengthened biosecurity systems, deepened member engagement, and delivered national programs that have advanced Australia’s animal health sector.
