Consultative Committee on Emergency Animal Diseases (CCEAD) training
CCEAD training is for nominated veterinary and technical experts from industry and government members who would advise their National Management Group (NMG) representative about disease control in an Emergency Animal Disease (EAD) response.
Run in conjunction with AHA’s Member Engagement Week, this face-to-face, scenario-based workshop aims to enhance our collective response to EAD challenges.
Upon completion, participants should:
- be prepared to participate as (or advise and support) a member of the CCEAD
- be familiar with the various phases of an EAD response in accordance with the Emergency Animal Disease Response Agreement (EADRA)
- understand their respective roles and responsibilities as signatories to the EADRA
For more information on CCEAD workshops, contact AHA’s Training Services at trainingsupport@animalhealthaustralia.com.au.
To register, contact your peak industry body or government agency for nomination.
Nominations open in late July 2025.
