Liaison – Livestock Industry Workshop (NSW)
Dates yet to be confirmed. Workshop delivery is scheduled for late October 2026.
Animal Health Australia, the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, and national Peak Industry Bodies (PIBs) are proud to host a focused workshop to train Liaison – Livestock Industry (LLI) personnel and strengthen our collective response to emergency animal disease (EAD) challenges. This workshop is not just an educational opportunity but a pivotal gathering for industry professionals who can significantly contribute during EAD responses.
- Explore EAD arrangements and understand the integral roles and responsibilities of LLI representatives.
- Gain practical insights into working effectively within a response framework and the nuances of communication in EAD outbreaks.
- Participate in interactive, scenario-based exercises designed to deepen your understanding and build real-world skills.
- Forge strong relationships and foster collaboration across the livestock sector.
This workshop is for individuals endorsed by a national PIB (as one of AHA’s livestock industry members and an EADRA Signatory) who are ready to represent their industry in the event of an EAD outbreak.
If you’re ready to step up, seek nomination through your PIB.
