Consultative Committee on Emergency Animal Diseases (CCEAD) Training Exercise

CCEAD training is targeted to nominated veterinary and technical experts from industry and government members who would advise their National Management Group (NMG) representative about disease control in an Emergency Animal Disease (EAD) response.

Run in conjunction with AHA’s Member Engagement Week, this face-to-face, scenario-based training exercise aims to enhance our collective response to EAD challenges.

Upon completion, participants should:

  • be prepared to participate as (or advise and support) a member of the CCEAD
  • be familiar with the various phases of an EAD response in accordance with the Emergency Animal Disease Response Agreement (EADRA)
  • understand their respective roles and responsibilities as signatories to the EADRA

How to register

Registrations are now open and will close Friday 14 August 2026. To register, discuss attendance with your peak industry body or government agency.
